Types of Wooden Flooring:

Solid Hardwood Flooring:

Made from a single piece of wood. Types of wood include oak, maple, cherry, walnut, and hickory. Known for its strength and longevity. Can be sanded and refinished multiple times.

Engineered Hardwood Flooring:

Made with a veneer of real wood on top of several layers of plywood or other materials. More resistant to moisture and temperature changes than solid hardwood. Easier to install with click-lock systems.

Laminate Flooring:

Not real wood but designed to resemble it with a photographic layer on top of composite wood. More affordable than real wood options. Resistant to scratches and stains but cannot be refinished.
